Mentoring & Completion Programs
Sub:Culture Fellows Program
Sub:Culture Fellows Program targets students who have the drive to graduate from college, but are at risk of falling short because of limited financial resources or unreliable support networks.
The Sub:Culture Fellows Program provides college scholarships, mentorship, mental health supports, and a diverse, credible, and robust support network to first and second year college students. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, religion, national origin, ability, sexual orientation or identity or background.
Each semester, we will award $1,500 scholarships, living expenses stipend, and $750 book awards to 5 fellows for a minimum of two years. As long as our fellows remain enrolled in and in good standing (at least a 2.5 G.P.A.) at a community college or four-year college or university, attend the required mentor check-ins, and complete their annual report–our awards are renewable for two more years.
